Eiffel Tower Golden Sands

An attraction for the guests of Golden Sands resort is the 1:10 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The miniature tower is 32 meters high and is installed in front of the company’s guardhouse in the resort. The copy of the Eiffel Tower in Golden Sands was built in 2007 and the cost of the project amounted to BGN 300 thousand.

Sea Garden Varna

The Sea Garden or Primorski Park is a large park on the Black Sea coast in Varna, Bulgaria. It is among the symbols of the city. It was declared a work of park art. To the north the Sea Garden borders the park of the state-government residence Evksinograd. These two parks have a relatively equal area of about 820 acres. The difference between them is that the Sea Garden is visited by about half a million people, while the park of Euxinograd is for the use of the presidency and the government only and is much better maintained.

Golden Sands National Nature Park

Golden Sands Nature Park has an area of 13.2 square kilometres and is the second declared park of the 11 nature parks in the country. It is located 17 km northeast of the town. Varna. It is situated parallel to the seashore and surrounds the resort of the same name. The length of the park is 9.2 km and the average width is 1.2 km. The highest peak is Ciplak Tepe – 269 m and the average altitude is 110 m. In the north the park borders with the village of. Aladzha Monastery

The monastery caves are carved out of a 25-metre high karst cliff near the upper edge of the Fransko Plateau on several levels. The complex includes two small nearby catacombs.

Planetarium

The idea for an observatory in Varna was born in the early 1960s. Under the leadership of the then mayor Nikolay Boyadzhiev, in 1963 in the central part of the Sea Garden a building was provided for the Astronomy and Astronautics Club, where the first astronomy and rocketry courses began to be held in the city.

Yevksinograd Palace

Just 8 kilometers north of Varna, by the sea, is the first and oldest suburban residence of the Bulgarian rulers of the last Bulgarian kingdom. This is the famous Euxinograd, known for its magnificent gardens, a monument of park art of world renown.
